Guided by Samuel Papot, the site's production manager, they discovered in amazement and curiosity how a log is transformed into boards, then into pallets and how 'the crumbs are used to make pellets!
This initiative taken by the school's teachers is part of an important commitment to raising children's awareness of ecology in all its dimensions. During the year, an "outdoor classroom" will be set up: sitting on small logs donated by the sawmill, the children will be made aware of sustainable development while being in direct contact with nature. They will also discover the virtues of composting toilets from boards made under their own eyes.
